D.A.S. MEDICAL SYSTEM- PLASMA LIFT
ADVANCED SKINCARE
WHAT IS D.A.S. PLASMA?
DAS-Plasma is the latest and completely safe method of aesthetic and dermatological treatments for skin ageing and skin blemishes.

DAS-Plasma is a revolutionary technology that uses long-wave radio frequency. The system creates a plasma effect and treats the skin without damaging the surrounding tissue.
How it works
Dermo Ablation Surgery (D.A.S.) Plasma is one of the newest modalities in the world of non-surgical cosmetic treatments. DAS-Plasma uses plasma energy to regenerate the top, or epidermal layer of the skin while reinvigorating the deeper dermal layers through targeted heat treatment. This deep-layer treatment process, known as fibroblast therapy, enables the production of collagen in the skin, which in turn reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even acne scars.

DAS-Plasma treatment is often used as a non-invasive facelift that provides an alternative to plastic surgery, as it requires just a topical anesthetic and has minimal downtime.

A treatment with DAS-Plasma simultaneously provides biostimulation in the deeper skin layers. This stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibres. This effect combined with the restructuring of connective tissue, gives an extra boost in firmness and volume to the treated areas. DAS-Plasma works by ionizing the air in the atmosphere, creating a small electrical arc that is directed onto the skin. The arc makes a controlled micro-trauma on the skin’s surface, which triggers the body’s natural healing response. This response leads to the production of collagen and elastin, which help tighten and firm the skin. DAS-Plasma can be used on various body parts, including the face, neck, chest and hands.
Thanks to the controlled layer-by-layer technique, superficial layers of skin are removed with great precision without damaging surrounding tissues. As a result, recovery time is short. A numbing cream is used in areas where the skin is treated.

Benefits
DAS-Plasma can reduce the appearance of forehead lines, crow’s feet, marionette lines, smoker’s lines, nasolabial folds, “11” lines between the brows, as well as acne scarring.
Additionally, plasma pen treatment can help to increase both collagen and elastin, which can help to tighten loose skin along the face, jawline, upper and lower eyelids, and neck. It’s also the only non-invasive cosmetic treatment that’s FDA-approved for use on the eyelids.

Among the most significant benefits of the plasma pen is that it is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment. Because of this benefit, cutting and stitching are unnecessary; therefore, the patient can return to their everyday life immediately. Additionally, the plasma pen can be used on all skin types, making it an accessible treatment option for people with different skin tones and textures.

Another fantastic benefit of the DAS-Plasma is that it produces natural-looking results. After the treatment, the skin gradually gets tighter and firmer over a few weeks, making the person look younger without looking overdone or fake.
How long it takes and how long it lasts
Patients enjoy some initial effect immediately following the procedure, but the ultimate lifting will take place over 3-6 months, as tired collagen is rejuvenated and supplemented with new, stronger collagen. The results obtained with the DAS-Plasma are very natural. After one treatment, there are usually immediate visible results (depending on the indication). In the following weeks, skin renewal and the production of collagen and elastin take place. After 1 to 3 months, the final result is visible.

When removing skin blemishes, 1 treatment gives the desired result. In the case of skin tightening or for a lifting effect it is more likely that several (2 to 3) treatments will be needed to achieve the optimal result.

The final end result is not visible immediately after treatment; it takes 1 to 3 months for the result to be optimal. The plasma pen’s effects can last up to three years, depending on the individual’s skin type and lifestyle.
Keep in mind
-
Assessment of your skin type is very important in determining whether DAS-Plasma is suitable for you. Darker skin tones may not be suitable for treatment due to the risk of post treatment changes in pigmentation. If you have been in the sun recently and have any tan whatsoever, treatment would need to be delayed until this has faded.
After-effects of DAS-Plasma treatment
-
After treatment, the treatment area is sensitive with possible redness, prickling, itching, irritation, slight to moderate swelling (especially when treating the eyelids). This may persist for up to several days.
-
In addition, small dots are visible immediately after treatment on which small scabs form within a foreseeable time. After 3-5 days, these scabs will fall off on their own.
-
Oedema formation after treatment of the eyelids. Can last up to about 5 days. With treatment on the upper eyelids, oedema formation may also appear under the eyes.
-
Erythema/redness after the scab falls off. Will gradually disappear. Redness may last up to 3 weeks, depending on skin type.
-
Hyperpigmentation is extremely rare with DAS-Plasma; may occur if aftercare instructions are not followed and prescribed sunscreen is not used. Skin types 4, 5 and 6 are more prone to hyperpigmentation.
